Our Family

We are a fairly young family. I Britt am 26 and my husband Nick is 31. We have two small boys Liam 2 years and Jaxson is 5 months. Nick works as a cook at a golf course and I am a Stay at home mom. We currently reside in Central Florida. We have aspirations of moving to and sustainably living in northern Michigan.

 

Our Goal.
We are wanting to purchase between 20 and 30 acres to build and maintain a primarily self sustained commuity. We hope to grow or raise as close to 100% of our own food as possible. We also aspire to use renewable sources of energy as much as possible towards an ultimate goal of 100% of our energy being sourced from renewable resources.  Creating a tight knit commuity of like minded individuals working together to not only survive but live is our dream.

​How We Plan to Succeed.

We have many ideas on how we are to succeed:

• First through social media, we plan to find like minded people

• Through the Fellowship for Intentional Community (WWW.IC.ORG) we through by our community to their directory hope to gather further interest in our community

• We also hope to Crowd Source additional funds for things we may not be able to cover after the initial purchase of land and immediate purchase of necessities
